about
Electrify me together with "Living in a Car' are melodies i brought from Sweden to California. The song took shape quickly over an electronic "loop" my friend Morten gave me to get inspired on a song, it begun with the title "Electrify me" that I was repeating over and over, this became the chorus and then the rest came naturally.
Pablo Valero and later Allan Phillips did a good job "dressing "Electrify me" up" to the dynamic beat that has today in the album.
lyrics
Electrify me
You going to burn the hell out of me
You make me see the yellow flowers in the sea
And when you do I go down on my knees
You turn me on you flip my switch you light my fire!
Oah..
You going to electrify me, in a black out
When you electrify me, you going to make me shout
When you electrify me, you going to blow my fuse
Forget the grounding, let it loose
Oh Electrify me, Oh Electrify me
Ah ! Ah! Check my wiring!
Electrify me, Electrify me…..
You going to burn the hell out of me (guitar 2 suave)
You make me see the yellow flowers in the sea
And when you do I go down on my knees
You turn me on you flip my switch you light my fire!
You going to electrify me, in a black out fire!
When you electrify me, you going to make me shout fire!
When you electrify me, in a black out , fire!
Forget the grounding , you going to make me shout!
Oh Electrify me Oh Electrify me
Oh Electrify me Oh Electrify me
Oh Electrify me Ah Electrify me
Electrify me
Electrify me
Electrify me
Electrify…..me… Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire!
Feels like I was stroked by lightning feels like white-hot heat
Colors seem like they are brighter check my wiring
Feels like I was stroked by lightning feels like white-hot heat
Colors seem like they are brighter check my wiring
You going to electrify me, in a black out fire !
When you electrify me, you going to make me shout fire !
When you electrify me, you going to blow my fuse fire!
Forget the grounding, let it loose fire!
Electrify me …
Electrify me…..

This remix LP reframes songs from Dear Nora’s “Skull Example,” sometimes making them sleeker, sometimes disassembling them entirely. Bandcamp New & Notable May 14, 2019
